Course Introduction

In this course you will learn to teach safe antenatal and postnatal sessions, identify physiological and anatomical changes of pregnancy in the body and identify cases when exercise and activity are not recommended.

Pre-requisities / Entry Requirements

  • Level 2 ETM or Gym Instructor or Aqua or Level 3 Pilates or Yoga or equivalents
  • A minimum of three months teaching experience is strongly recommended.

Course Content

Learn to...

  • Plan and teach safe, effective antenatal and postnatal sessions within your area of expertise
  • Identify physiological and anatomical changes of pregnancy in the body and how this relates to gym or studio environments
  • Identify cases when exercise and activity are not recommended
  • Maintain participant safety and respond to an emergency situation
