Course Introduction

For anyone thinking about becoming a teacher in zumba, bokwa or other pre-choreographed programmes, this course is the foundation stone. It offers a recognised qualification, not simply a training workshop. This means that, when you start to teach, you’ll be backed by a recognised qualification.

Pre-requisities / Entry Requirements

Anyone can take this course. However, you should have taken part in exercise-to-music programmes to ensure you have a basic grasp of the steps and choreography before you teach.

Additional Information

We have a blended learning approach to teaching. There’s secure online distance learning and practical exercise-to-music training that takes place over two weekends.

Support

HFE will provide you with your own personal tutor to offer guidance and help throughout the course. There’s regular contact with your tutor before the course, on the phone and over email to prepare you for face-to-face training. We can arrange an appointment each week to review progress, or you can just get in touch whenever you need extra help. We’re very flexible and can fit around your life, no matter how busy you are. While you’re doing the course, you’ll get lots of support from course tutors, too. That’s because we have small class sizes, so you get plenty of time with tutors and assessors. If you think there’s any other method of delivering support, please tell us. It’s what we’re here for.
