YMCAFit Circuit Training

Circuit training continues to be a hugely popular class. Circuit training is a type of interval training in which strength exercises are combined with endurance/aerobic exercises, combining the benefits of both a cardiovascular and strength training workout.

Personal trainers can deliver circuit classes in the park or in the home, as well as in the gym.

YMCA Circuit Training is a two day workshop in which you will learn a range of exercises and approaches to circuit training and the various styles of circuit training classes.

This module will show you how to plan classes using a range of equipment and body weight exercises and also incorporates sports-specific and health-related approaches. By the end, you will be able to structure circuit sessions to include warm ups/cool downs, timings, intensities and relevant exercises.
