Resisted Movement TrainingThese courses build and expand on the principles taught in the Diploma in Personal Training, allowing you to enhance your clients training experiences and maximise their training outcomes. Both courses make use of the Premier Web Training System, which provides a step-by-step approach to resistance and flexibility training aimed at improving the everyday functional capabilities of your personal training clients. This system will enable you to perform a detailed analysis of a clients posture and to set up a programme of exercise designed to both enhance this posture and to positively affect their ability to engage in physical activity in and outside the gym. Entry RequirementsYou must hold a Premier Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instruction or equivalent to attend this course. Length and Format of CourseBoth the RMT and MBF are CD/DVD-ROM home learning products and are supported mid-way through the materials by a live 1 day workshop, and at the end of the course by a live practical assessment. The length of the course will vary according to levels of application and available time. 4 - 6 months is a realistic time frame for completion of the programmes. These products can be purchased individually as well as part of the Masters Pathways. AssessmentEach course has a series of online quizzes, plus an online exam upon completion of the home learning discs The final step is the completion of a live practical assessment at an appropriate Premier Training venue. |
