This course is offered in partnership with Weight Management Centre and as such represents the leading weight and obesity management course available in the UK. Students will develop a high level of competency concerning the key fundamentals of nutrition in relation to weight and energy balance. An in-depth look at the behavioural psychology behind eating and food behaviours is provided, and a wealth of practical and research based motivational techniques and strategies for empowering clients to changing behaviour is featured. This is a primary course required for those wishing to work with overweight or obese subjects. |
