| Experience : I have been working in the fitness industry for the last 5 years and have much enthusiasm and energy that I am ready to generate into helping my clients achieve their goals. | Professional Reference I joined fitness first gym around 7 months ago and from the beginning have been seeing Debbie for personal one to one training on a weekly basis. Our sessions are alway challenging and enjoyable, providing good idea's and programmes for my training in the week ahead. I never now what to expect! one week we can be flat out cardio leaving me absolutely exhausted - the next doing a full body workout with free weights, balancing on balls the lot. Debbie also introduced me to Cycling/spinning classes, which I didn't fall in love with straight away, but since my fitness and stamina has increased, find a real mid week tonic. Seeing Debbie keeps me on track towards my goals of losing weight, toning muscle and generally getting and staying fit. Her style is challenging but achievable which is important for motivation. You wanna find a crazy "fitness freak" mate then I say "go for it"!!!!!!! Debbie Williams Debbie has been my Trainer fro approximately one year, in that time she has helped me focus on my goals both short and long term. When I started with Deb I had settled into a training rut following the same routine week in week out and not getting the most out of my time training. I now have a wide ranging program regularly updated that includes Circuit and spin classes as well as one to one training and individual training sessions. Since starting there has alway been one thing that intrests me, running. I've alway dreamt of completing a marathon, but never believing that I could do it, Deb has shown me that it is possible, she has given me both support ans expert guidance in the form of structured exercise programs and instruction, giving me the realisation that maybe 26.2 miles is within my reach. 2006 has been a busy year for me. Deb has introduced me to races and she has been by my side in all of them including a 1 hour 44 min half marathon in Plymouth! I now have a calender full of 10ks, and half marathons. Although having a goal is in itself motivational it is human nature to lose track and become de-motivated, at these times Deb has been there with new challenges and ideas to keep me on track and heading toward my goal of completing a marathon. Darren Adam's In 2004 I weighted 8 stone 11 pounds and smoked 30 cigarettes per day. During December 2004 I contracted Bronchitis, as a result of smoking so I decided to quit. The consequence of this was I gained weight and by February 2005 I weighted in at 10 stone 3 pounds, so I decided to join the gym. In March 2005 I was introduced to Debbie Griffin (now my Personal Trainer) who produced my programme for me to get fit, tone up and lose weight. I was struggling to reach my goals and lost intrest in my workouts. After discussions with Debbie we agreed motivation was my main problem. Debbie changed my out look and programme to help me with my motivation and training. I now attend sessions with her at least 4 times a week and during the last 3 months I have achieved my target weight of 8 stone 11 pounds and have also started running in which I enjoy very much, have now completed a outside 5k run and now running 6 miles twice a week with Debbie. My target for the furtre is to maintaine fitness, stay toned and develop a six pack. I know I can rely on Debbie to help me achieve this and reach my goal. I would like to thank Debbie for all her hard work and patience during the past 12 months. Kim Giles After many years of being unhappily, I had run out of excuses not to something about it. The twins had started nursery and I had not gone back to work so I finally had some free time. Having tried lots of diets in the past I decided I needed some motivation and help, so I looked up Personal Trainers on the internet. I choose to call Debbie Griffin as she looked frendily, so in January 2006 I plucked up the courage to make contact and my training and weight loss journey began. I went to see Debbie and she was great, just what I needed, frendly approachable helpful and determined she was going to get me fit. She made me write down all that I ate and drank and went through my diet with me offering suggestions, which I found very helpful. Debbie weighted me but I was too heavy to register on her scales, it took about three weeks before I finally knew badly overweigh I was. From then until now with a mixture of exercising I have now lost 9 stone. My life is now so different, I have so much more confidence, energy and lots less clothes. (I have had to buy so many new smaller outfits, I now just buy enough to manage until I am happy with my size). I still have a few more stone to loose and with Debbie's help I will get there. My life has been totally transformed since loosing all the weight and I can't thank Debbie enough for all her help, I coundn;t do it without her cobstant encouragement and positive comments.
