I specialise in ‘old-school’ fitness training, using basic equipment such as kettlebells, medicine balls, ropes and tyres (see website www.spartanfit.co.uk) to help you reach your desired goal in a fun and inventive way. As an ex-amateur boxer and rugby player, I learnt how to achieve my own goals. My experience as a professional fire-fighter and Physical Training Instructor with the fire service, along with my past experience as a Personal Trainer has taught me how to help other people achieve theirs. | Professional Reference I have been training with Steve for the past six months after he was recommended to me by a friend. I had always wanted to compete in a triathlon and thought the best way to do it was to get some professional help. I trained with Steve for two months before my first sprint triathlon, where he really helped me increase my general fitness level. I was really pleased to find that I finished just outside the top 50 competitors and vowed that I would do even better next time. After this my training with Steve really increased and he pushed me harder than I could have ever imagined. I did my next triathlon three months later and was thrilled to see that this time I had come fourth and was only four minutes off the winner’s time! Next year I plan to do even better with Steve’s help. I would thoroughly recommend Steve to anyone looking for a Personal Trainer, he will push you hard and you may not always like him (I know I didn’t when he made me do one last sprint or push-up), but he will always provide you with plenty of encouragement and is loads of fun, even on the wettest Monday morning!
