Mission Statement

The NRPT has been recommending personal trainers for over 20 years, both online and offline. But what do we hope to achieve and how we do propose to do it?

The NRPT has been recommending personal trainers for over 10 years, both online and offline. But what do we hope to achieve and how we do propose to do it?

Mission statement

The NRPT is committed to setting and maintaining the highest standards in the fitness industry, at all levels. Through our commitment to supporting personal trainers and their clients we provide the framework for the development of the individuals physical and psychological well being.

By doing this we are striving to create a healthy society and improve the quality of life for everyone.

How will we achieve this?

By selecting only qualified and experienced trainers we aim to provide you with the very best UK fitness professionals. To ensure they are the sort of professionals you can trust, we check their insurance, their qualification certificates and their first aid certificates prior to them joining and throughout their membership. We are also going to introduce a stricter random telephone checklist where they will have to comply with basic standards that you would expect to receive. In short, we are self-regulating as an organisation even though we respect the new Government-backed Register of Exercise Professionals.

For more information about our expectations of our trainer members, please go to our Code of Ethics section where we explain what we expect of our members.
