Join the NRPT

If you are a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer, then joining the NRPT can be one of the most important things you can do for your business. Aimed at putting people in touch with qualified, insured personal trainers, joining the NRPT is simple: You can join in two ways:-

Complete the online application form and credit/debit card payment. This gives you a £5 discount as well, making the joining fee £91.90 inc VAT

Download our application form and post to us (fee is £96.90), you can send a cheque with your forms (address on form) or call 0844 8484 644 to pay using your credit/debit card over the phone

Ok, so you now need to send copies of your qualification,insurance certificates and a head & shoulders photo to the NRPT. You can either email your documents to info@nrpt.co.uk, or post to:-

NRPT Ltd, PO Box 870, Sywell Northamptonshire, NN6 0ZB

Once we receive your documents and payment, we can then complete your application.

If you don't have current insurance cover, we can provide this (£80) in conjunction with your membership (so online application fee of £91.90 + £80, total £171.90, or for manual application £96.90 + £80, total £176.90). Please note we are not able to offer insurance cover on its' own. Membership & renewal fees are not refundable. Annual renewing fee is £96.90.

Where are we based?

In short, the NRPT was the UK's first, and now only, nationwide trainer referral organisation. Our Head Office is in Sywell, Northamptonshire. Established in 1991 to help trainers get more clients and for clients to find trainers that are qualified and experienced. The NRPT is now attracting more members than ever thanks to our strong relationship with REPS and all the major training providers. With significant exposure on leading web site portals and in leading newspapers & magazines.

What exposure do you get?

There are a range of reasons for joining the NRPT, not least our success in putting genuine clients in touch with you, the trainer. Where else can you get the sort of exposure that we've offered in the past year with the likes of the The Guardian, Daily Mail, Daily Express, Handbag.com, The Metro, The Independent, The Times, Harpers & Queen, Ultrafit, Men's Health, Zest, Cosmopolitan, Runner's World, Saga, and we're regularly featured on health & lifestyle TV programmes - do we need to go on? We have our own promotions agencies which get us involved with corporate loyalty schemes or on pack promotions such as campaigns with Tesco Healthy Living, Now Magazine, Daily Mail and HSBC to name but a few.

How many searches do you get for trainers?

Our website continues to grow month on month and the latest figures show that we have just over 40,000 searches, 25,000 unique users and over 300,000 page impressions per month. Our members website area allows you more control to change your own information, check out the deals we've negotiated for you with leading UK sports and fitness companies together with useful business and marketing information. We can guarantee you that we can save you money on everything from fitness equipment through to specialised clothing and shoes.

What about REPS?

REPS was setup to create and define standards for the whole fitness industry, we work closely with them to ensure that all our trainers are meeting the correct standards and as you can see from the trainer profiles we promote the REPS logo to help educate the consumer of the value of working with a quality trainer (Read information about the REPS).
