Promotions & Offers

Since 2002, the NRPT have worked exclusively with promotion agencies to offer our members new ways of enticing people to try out a personal trainer!

From on-pack products like "Danone Yoghurts", through to Corporate Fitness Schemes or Voucher Booklets, the NRPT has worked hard to find specific routes to get our members new clients. As an NRPT trainer you can opt out of promotions at any time, however the vast majority support them due to their success.

Promotions

We have unique terms and conditions for each promotion we run, but the typical format is a "free seesion " or a 2 for 1 session.

The free session is the more common one and allows the consumer to explore the viability of personal training like a new client would normally. The session normally follows a consultation format to allow you to understand the "client" if you choose to introduce some exercise if time allows then thats down to you.

Or there are  2 for 1 personal training sessions offers the bearer of a voucher :

  1. A free session when another is purchased at full price.
  2. Provided promotion codes are delcared before booking
  3. Payment for 2 for 1 deal is made prior to in advance
  4. Offer is always subject to availability
  5. Offer cannot be used alongside any other discount or offer
  6. Only one 2 for 1 offer can redeemed per person

As said, there are some variations on this, but as a trainer your initial consultation DOES count as one of the free personal training sessions.

Previous Clients

With previous clients including, HSBC, Danone, First Direct and Littlewoods there's a wide variation in the way we promote you as one of our personal trainers.

O2

O2 customers received a coupon for "one free consultation" when "2-4-1 fitness session" was booked, or "one hour with a personal trainer (30 minutes consultation and 30 minutes training)".

Oral B

In over 30,000 packs of Oral B Sonic Complete toothbrushes, booklets were distributed with 8 vouchers in. This included one for personal training. The promotional offer pack was on offer in stores including Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Sainsbury & Asda and independent chemists.

Offers

There are also a number of key events and conferences each year aimed at fitness instructors and personal trainers, and wherever possible we will aim to secure discounts or associated benefits.

We are regularly approached by organisations and companies that want to offer products or to tell you about their new training programmes - many are current NRPT members that have developed their own programmes and are able to offer them to you.

In Summary

So what are we trying to say? Basically that the NRPT is not just about marketing you and helping to put you in touch with other trainers. We want to provide you with added value that can benefit you as a trainer and as a business.Promotions have been a really useful way of generating new business and giving the consumer an alternative way of exploring your service.
